Frank Langella will play the title role in a new production of William Shakespeare's King Lear opening at Chichester Festival Theatre this autumn, prior to transferring to the Harvey Theater at BAM (Brooklyn Academy Of Music) in New York.
Liev Schreiber, Jeremy Strong and Liv Tyler have boarded the indie "Robot and Frank," joining Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon. Jake Schreier is directing the story of a young architect (Strong) working to scan all the books at the library where he works when he's suddenly forced to go up against a man (Langella) who plans to steal from the institution with his robot companion.
Award-winning actor Frank Langella is to star in a staging of Terence Rattigan's drama "Man and Boy," New York's Roundabout Theatre Company said. Directed by Maria Aitken, the play is to begin previews Sept. 9. It is scheduled to officially open Oct. 9 at Broadway's American Airlines Theatre. This will be a limited engagement through Nov. 27

He awakens to find that he has been inexplicably replaced by another man, leading the good doctor on a frantic quest to uncover the truth behind his stolen identity. Langella plays Cole, who comes forward as the doctor's colleague and just might be able to help him take back his life.
Frank Langella will join Grammy Award winner Debbie Moore for a holiday concert with the Boston Pops. The concert is the 26th annual presentation of "A Company Christmas at Pops." The concert will take place December 16th at the Symphony Hall in Boston. Langella will narrate the tale, "A Visit from St. Nicholas."
